I enjoy picnics around Tokyo

【Autumn leaves】Japanese garden next to Tokyo Dome / Koishikawa-Kōrakuen Garden @KORAKUEN

Awesome! Among the autumn leaves in 2018, Koishikawa Korakuen was the most beautiful.
I also saw people taking wedding photos in kimono.
I will share with you the most beautiful autumn leaves I have seen this year.

※This article is an English translation of an article posted in December 2018.

Today's autumn leaves

  • About 105% autumn leaves
  • Currently seen colors:Red、Yellow、Green

Date taken: Tuesday, December 4, 2018

I think that the situation changes every day because the leaves fall when the wind blows.
The maple red is beautiful, but the yellow leaves of the ginkgo tree are also brilliant and wonderful.

About congestion

You can afford to take a leisurely photo.
Koishikawa Korakuen is larger than I thought, despite its excellent location right next to "Tokyo Dome".
I'm looking forward to spring because there was a plum trees!

One secret place ...
Group rest area
This is a place where toilets and trash cans are installed in a large gazebo, but there is a space like a square as a group rest area.
And you can see the maple in front of the gazebo.
Because there were few people, I enjoyed the autumn leaves carefully.

Is there a shop?

yes, They have. However, there is only a shop called "Koishikawa Korakuen Tsuboya" at the entrance here.
The following is written on the Koishikawa Korakuen website.

Q. Can I bring food and drink into the garden?
A. Yes you can.

If you'd bring your lunch, please use the benches that have been installed in the park.
It should be noted, that laid the sheet to such as implantation within and garden paths are not accepted at all.

Nearby cafes

I found an ice cream cafe 13 minutes on foot from Koishikawa Korakuen, and 5 minutes from Korakuen Station.

A cute shop called "Honey Trip" where you can enjoy pasteurized organic milk soft ice cream.

The day I visited was in December, but it was a very hot day, so I felt like I was revived.
